A PROPOSAL FOR A PERFECT DAY IN ALBIR

Tomorrow: coffee with the aroma of the sea

The perfect day is when you know that in El Albir you can enjoy your surroundings and you won’t get bored with what you see.
Upon waking, if you don’t want to have your coffee at the hotel you chose from this list of recommended accommodations , head to D·Origin Coffee Roasters , a specialty coffee shop where the roasting is done every week and the aroma blends with the Mediterranean breeze.
There you can try exotic origins such as Panama Barú Black Mountain , Ethiopia , Brazil , or even unique batches from Thailand , Vietnam or Yemen , each with its own character: fruity, floral notes or with a touch of natural cocoa.
It’s the place where the locals start the day talking about surfing, the weather, or simply the peace and quiet of the town.

Mid-morning: well-being or movement

After your coffee at D·Origin, depending on the time of year , you can go down to the Albir Spa Centre (see our suggestions here ) and relax in its thermal circuit.
If you prefer something more active, the Paseo de las Estrellas (Walk of Stars) is ideal for walking, running, or stretching by the sea. The views of the Serra Gelada mountain range make exercise a pleasure.

Midday: nature and good company

If you fancy something more open, take the well signposted route from Albir Beach towards Serra Gelada and follow the path to the Albir Lighthouse , a route frequented by many people from all over the Valencian Community.
During the climb, it’s easy to run into locals or travelers who greet you as you pass. Up there, the air is cleansed, and so is the mind: nature has a way of silencing what’s superfluous.

Afternoon: Flavors of the Mediterranean

At midday, take a break at Restaurante Enrique’s , a specialist in Mediterranean cuisine and seafood . Their paella, served with the sound of the waves in the background, tastes like summer even in January.

Sunset and night: slow rhythm and warm light

The afternoon in El Albir ends without haste: a stroll along the Boulevard of Musicians , a cold beer or simply watching the sun disappear behind the Serra Gelada .
And when night falls, choose one of those restaurants where the waiters treat you as if they already know you.
If you still have energy left , you can go down to Benidorm , just a few minutes away, and have a drink in one of its prestigious music bars , where there is live music and, later, dancing.

This is what a perfect day looks like.

This is how a perfect day in El Albir ends: with the sound of the sea, a clear head, and the feeling of being in the right place.
