It&#8217;s a ravine between residential areas that has become a refuge for birds, native plants and quiet walks. From here you get some of the best sunsets in Altea, with an open view to the horizon and no crowds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The old washhouses (lavaderos):<\/strong> scattered through the old town, these small stone structures were the social hub of Altea for generations. Simple place with genuine flavour.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bar Granada:<\/strong> home cooking with daily-changing specials, friendly service and a neighbourhood feel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>8 de Tapes:<\/strong> Mediterranean tapas with character, informal atmosphere and well-executed dishes at fair prices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Las Coronas Bar Restaurante:<\/strong> modest location, but solid cooking \u2014 meats, generous salads and honest homemade options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Looking for restaurants in Altea with views? They exist too.
