On the corner of the Avenida del Albir, right across from Banc Sabadell and a step away from the promenade that runs down to the beach, there’s a place we knew for years as Le Grand Caf\u00e9. Since the summer of 2021 that same corner has been called No-Mad, and it has become one of the places people talk about most when someone asks where to eat something different without leaving the center.<\/p>

I’ve lived in El Albir for almost twenty years and I’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go along this avenue. The ones that last usually know what they are from the start. No-Mad does: a broad menu designed so everyone can find something they like, and a terrace that looks out on the heart of the village. Here’s what’s worth knowing before you sit down, with its strengths and also what doesn’t quite come together.<\/p>
